Procession and photos

The wind was up so touch and go whether the finals would go ahead. Instead, we joined in the procession through the town whilst we waited for the afternoon and evening rowing. A fabulous atmosphere.  We were treated like celebrities. 

 Then very bad news about Tish's sister.

Then the wind calmed and finals went ahead followed by fireworks and Italian style award ceremony, where we were surprised to receive medals.
