Les iles Glénan

The French Carirbean. An archipelago of 9 islands in a hourshoe around a pristine bay, turqouise water, white sands and sun.  The boat trip was beautiful, straight out from Concarneau for an hour.  We stayed on the boat for another hour to tour around the inside of the sizable horseshoe with commentary on each of the islands.  We had two hours to spend then on the biggest island, St Nicolas. You could easily circumnavigate it on foot in 20 minutes.  The whole place is a sailing/diving/swimming/snorkelling haven.  
Back to the mainland then for dinner in a Franco/Portuguese restaurant.  Sardines and beef tataki for me, with chocolate mousse for dessert.
