Ripening well

A blustery wander this afternoon!

Very little about ..... I think most of the birds had 'battened down the hatches' & taken cover!

We did see a Kestrel ..... they are in their element in windy weather .... too far away for a photo though.

We also saw a few Swallows & House Martins still swooping about & there were quite a few dragonflies on the hunt :-)

The Elder berries are ripening as you can see from my blip ...... it does seem a bit early.
