Thimble

 Y brother is cracking on with dealing with the many things our Dad collected. 200 theatre programmes listed on eBay and when he asked me what I thought he should do with various dance programmes from the 1930s and 50s I suggested he email the church, theatre, dance school etc. All except one have replied that they would love them for their archives, so a job well done. 
Then I remembered our grandmothers thimble so took some photos of the hallmarks etc. It’s a 1900s silver thimble size 6. He will see if he can find out any more from the hallmarks. I discovered what I had suspected for a couple of months - my glasses are not as good as when I first got them! Need an eye test!
