VISITORS FROM AUSTRALIA

Late blip as Ive been out this evening. 

Stayed at home until around 5.30pm when I walked to slimming group.  Half a pound gain this week unfortunately.  Didn't stay to the meeting after getting weighed as my sister in law Virginia was coming to pick me up from my house a bit later. When she arrived my brother John was also in the car as well as Virginia's sister Vanessa and J & V's two dogs.  

We drove to a holiday cottage a few miles away where my niece Sharon, her husband Kyle and their two little boys have been staying this week.They are over here from Australia to see family and friends.  Their accommodation is called a cottage  but its like a mansion... 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 lounges, huge kitchen and a  hot tub.  It usually rents out for around £1,700 per week but its owned by a friend of Sharon's who let them stay for free

Apart from Virginia, John and Vanessa the other visitors this evening were my cousins Arthur and Philip, my other niece Rachael and her boyfriend, my nephew Gary, Virginia's brother and his wife and Kyles Dad.  14 adults in total plus 2 children and 3 dogs. 

 It was great to catch up with everyone especially Sharon and Kyle.  The last time they were here was in 2019.  They have had a busy week with different people visiting them at the cottage every day. They are heading off to Devon tomorrow with Kyles Dad as that's where he lives.  They will stay a few days before jetting off to Geneva and then to Mont Blanc where Kyle will be doing the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanca  - a 106 mile run up the mountain and back down.

Then they are going to Lanzarote.  Virginia and John will be meeting up with them there for a 10 day holiday together before Sharon, Kyle and the children head home to Australia.
