Froglet.

Sunday evening in the garden and the cats were pouncing on something by the pond. On closer investigation, hiding behind a blade of grass, (and I do mean a single blade), were a few of these.

When the weather first stopped being absolutely freezing then pond was suddenly filled with toad AND frogspawn. The toads are still in the pond struggling to grow legs, and I guess these are the results of the frogspawn that disappeared fairly quickly by comparison.
