Ben Stokes

The second day of the Test between England and Sri Lanka was delayed by heavy rain, during which we were entertained by a singer-guitarist playing "Here Comes The Sun" which was optimistic but not funny. When play started at 1.15pm the game progressed steadily, interestingly but not excitingly.

In recent years, English Test Cricket has been very exciting due in part to the leadership of the captain, Ben Stokes. He is currently injured and is seen here on the balcony of the England dressing room with one of the coaches, Paul Collingwood.
