More Festivalising
A day of being out and about at the Festival. Firstly off to the Traverse to see My English Persian Kitchen which has been packing them in. And at the end the gannets are invited to come forward and sample the whatever-it-is that she makes during the show. It sounded like osh-kosh but those are kiddies dungarees. A very decent show, with great lighting and sound. Then off over the meadows to Summerhall to have a pint and yes, a Ròst. Or maybe the o was ó. I dunnö. And to the next show, Heartbreak Hotel. OMG was that good! Hilarious! Yet poignant when it wanted to be. Terrific.
Back across the meadows to the Cameo to watch Hollywoodgate - a series of impressions which build to create a terrific and accurate impression of the Taliban as nothing more than a collection of ignorant country bums. Kicked our asses though, and more than once; there’s a lesson. Fighting is what they do.
