Georgina's sports day

Today was Georgina's first ever sports day, last year when she was in the reception class it was cancelled due to the weather.
The children were really cute, whilst running in the lanes they kept looking for their friends and even waiting for them to catch up, this must be the age where"competitiveness " has not been fully awakened....innocence
Anyway I was a very proud grannie because Georgina won her race ( I said to Helen that she was taking after me because I was Manchester schoolgirl champion ) I won't say what year.
What a fantastic morning I could smell the tar on the road it was that hot.....'Halcyon days'
