Old tree trunk

This piece of tree trunk is more than twenty years old.  iI's been in several locations in the garden as we have changed the layout of the garden and built a new patio etc.  I just think it is quite interesting and a bit evil looking with its one eye - or perhaps two. 
Extra is what's left of the trunk.  It was a conifer. There were 8 of them bordering the garden when we bought the house and J dug them all out, including the roots, rather than cut them and leave the trunks.  It took him a few years.
