Bee on globe thistle

This flower is past its best but this bee was still tucking in! Rob and I were planning to work in the garden tomorrow but we've just seen the forecast for heavy rain. So, we popped out for a while this afternoon and got a lot done. Plus I have put salt down on the cracks where the weeds come up and I hope the heavy rain will wash it down into the roots.
