Number Three!

It would be rude not to bag the third of the Three Peaks summit today! I'm not going to lie when we woke to heavy heavy rain and the sound of Storm Lilian battering all around, I was a little concerned about tackling it!!

However, off we went! The wind was ferocious and at times the rain was too. But...we made it! Pen y Ghent done and we even got a clear window and some sunshine to enjoy.

Back at home now having dropped Matthew off, and, of course, my washing is all sorted and everything is unpacked.

A really lovely break where the five days seems to have flown by and I'm actually reassured by that fact because you never know how it'll be spending time solidly with somebody you don't actually live with...but yes, a success! Also I think it's fair to say we took on the weather...and despite it's best efforts otherwise...we won! :-P
