Friday, it must be a flower!
A very windy start to the day and a short shower. Mainly blue skies and sunshine after that.
Up early and outside to lift the rubbish bin off the ground where the wind had blown it! Fortunately most of the contents had stayed inside. Breakfast, did some jobs, had coffee and then drove to K's. We went to the nature reserve at Leigh. Walked back into old Leigh and had something to eat sitting outside. Also had an icecream:)
We then walked back and into the reserve, it was nearly high tide which today was very high, it was also peaceful as not many people around. Walked back to the car and drove home along the seafront, arriving home late afternoon. I put a load of washing on and out on the line, dried by 8pm. After tea and speaking to my friend I went for a walk and filled 2 bags with litter:(
I took this photo in my garden as the rudbeckias are just starting to come into bloom.
Hope you all have a good weekend and don't get too wet! I think it is the south-east corner of the UK that will be the wettest but we really do need rain
