Blood Cleaning

This is the back of my Mom on her machine for this night having her blood cleaned of fluids and toxins. She stays on 3 x a week for 3 to 3.5 hours.

Her shunt in a thigh and has been working well for over 5 years.
Next April she'll be on for 10 years and a party to celebrate her life on Dialysis is in order.

She's a trooper as she also had a faint that caused a broken foot in
2007. The break caused a lot of medical issues, but she keeps on smiling:-)

I say the fainting was due to doctors not taking her off her BP meds.
But it is a lot of hassel getting others (medical sorts) to see it that way.

She loves sports and has a TV to keep her company while she is doing her sessions.

A blessed woman that keeps me laughing way to much while we sit and chit chat and pass the time.

I think the blood shows up well in this shot.
Maybe I will take more photo's while we are at Dialysis.
And in the surround area of the hospital.

Maybe next time I will get her front view instead of a back of her:-)
