Lovely this afternoon.

The overnight rain and drizzly morning cleared nicely. We went to the East Sands at low tide; quiet today - schools are back and golf tourists are at the Championship. The streets of St Andrews weren’t busy just after lunchtime.

I cut the grass before dinner time. I’m going to need to cut back half a dozen bushes when I feel a bit more up to it.

We’d the old log stove on again this evening. Ofgem today confirmed a 10% rise in energy bills - this only days after winter fuel payments were stopped for most pensioners. Shameful really.
