The day began...

...with high winds in the early morning, before improving somewhat with a large mug of coffee and a video natter with lovely Ms.Arell 200 miles further north.

Lunchtime past with running youngest around to a shop followed by walking Shadow to my parents where we had a catch up with my Auntie & Cousin visiting from Devon :-)

Back home a flat square parcel arrived...woohoo! I haven't even spun the platter in an age, never mind found something new or old to play on it, but anyway last week I heard the voice of Chris Rea singing something not heard before and so found out which album it was off before finding a good used copy online. The track was Giverny, the album On The Beach and am going to devour it should I get a quiet hour or so over the weekend.

In the evening there was little peace so your Gal escaped on her motorcycle for a couple of hours. On reflection ridng the Snake Pass, Rivelin Valley & Woodhead Pass was not wise. The latter two parts were ridden in darkness which I normally enjoy but a dark Woodhead with traffic behind was not fun. Lesson learnt.
