HOOOO Left the Flowers for Joan?

Evidently Joan liked owls...and roses. 

The national cemetery (Great Lakes) was surprisingly devoid of flowers. The workers have to weed out the flowers that are past their prime, and they must have down it recently.

It was a nice day here in Michigan, but I spent most of it inside. Our church packs a lot of shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, and I committed myself to painting the top of the inside of 50 of the shoe boxes. I'm attacking them 10 at a time, and I've got 20 done.

After the morning painting, I spent the afternoon in my garage again, making some good progress and able to pull one of the vans in tonight. Perhaps I will finish the job on the morrow.
