Bye bye Britain!

We woke to pretty awful weather, and news that ferries were cancelled and delayed. Thankfully ours seemed unaffected.
Sad to say bye to J&R, but they'll be in Ibiza in October!
The weather cleared (as you can see!) and we drove the short distance to the Port to find out we'd been moved to an earlier boat - hooray!
A very choppy crossing, loads of people being sick or lying down... Not nice for them. I was very grateful the 4 of us felt OK. 
A 5 hour drive to Metz where we'd booked a studio flat for the night. Small, clean, perfect for what we needed. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A special UK stay.
2) A smooth Dover experience, no queues, no stress, minimal waiting.
3) Danny doing a good job of driving all these hundreds of kilometres!
