Iona from Mull

Back blip.
We took the ferry from Mull to Iona and walked around the monastery and nunnery. It was very interesting. We dodged the showers by going to a cafe for lunch!
In the afternoon and early evening we went searching for the elusive eagles H saw a golden eagle while we were driving but I didn’t see it! We did see 3 buzzards high up though. In the evening we did a walk to the sea and along a very full river before dinner. We’ve moved hotels for the last 2 nights. It’s a lodge in the woods by the sea. Not the best but ok!!
