Puffin with sand eels

Well, we had a fantastic time on Skomer Island walking about 4 miles round it but I did not succeed in getting a good shot of a puffin in flight or landing with sand eels! However, this was what I did get! When the puffins land they come so fast that I actually never quite got the focus right, I obviously need a lot more practise!
We arrived back to Martins Haven on the ferry after what most people would consider to have been a great day out. However, my husband thinks differently, so we drove to Dale where we left the car and walked a loop round the peninsular with quite a lot of climbing up and down (7miles) and arrived back. at 7.30pm - I was shattered!
We stopped in Dale at a pub for a long drink... and a meal which was most welcome. Now he is planning tomorrow...!!
