This was a gift from the gorgeous granddaughter for my birthday.  They are gorgeous and still looking good. Roses, alstroemeria and carnations.
Lovely to have fresh flowers in the house.

Sad addendum:
Just had a phone call from Max's owners - he had some sort of stroke last night and has had to be put to sleep.  He'd lost his eyesight totally after the episode and was blundering into everything, totally bemused and unsure where he was etc. Graham is currently digging a hole in their garden next to their last dog so he will laid to rest with Bella.
I"m very grateful this happened on their watch, not mine.
