another day another moth

I love these guys and the season is winding down. So I am posting this one instead of the lovely monarch  that was also on the bush . Two monarchs yesterday , still no sign of cats or eggs on the milkweed and butterfly weed.. also the hummers were whizzing around at high speed again with wild chases most of the day.They actually emptied the front hummer feeder in 4 days! 
I am late posting this one as I discovered my battery was too low to allow for transfer and it takes a while to charge . I was in bed before it had finished. So ... after the cat is fed , petted , water fountain cleaned , cat is petted again , played with , given crunches ,  and petted again I can finally post yesterday's photo.
