Losing the plot...

I've been excited for months, eagerly anticipating the publication day of the latest Jackson Brodie by my favourite author, the brilliant Kate Atkinson.

I pre-ordered it weeks ago, and was counting down the days and hours until it arrived on Thursday 22nd. But now that I have it....I haven't even opened it. Why?

Well, my problem is that I read very quickly. And once I've started, I'll have to read it in a oner. Which means it'll be over in a few hours, and I'll have to wait about a year until her next book!

So I've put it on the shelf for a while, letting it tease me until the day when I can no longer resist.

Sometimes, I think I'm not normal.....
