I thought I’d make some carrier bags today in which H’s friends can take home the craft items they’ve decorated at H’s birthday play date next Saturday. (It’s not a full-blown party, just a small get-together for four of her friends, plus her and her sister.) I have a little gadget which helps me make small carrier bags, but it isn’t suitable for the size of bag I wanted to make.
So I managed to create these bags by printing off two sheets of A3 with the unicorns and rainbow pattern for each bag, sticking them together and creating a tube, then folding them into shape. Each one is big enough to take a mini cardboard carrier bag, a crown, an embellished lolly stick and a bookmark, all of which the children will have decorated with jewels, flowers and pictures.
Now my next job is to iron the bed linen that I washed this morning!
