Day Three

We woke up early so decided on a walk around the harbour and a cafe au lait while No.1 and JC slept.  The place is better with less people around and it was good to sit and watch the world go by.  We got back and the breakfast had arrived (such good service from the concierge) and we enjoyed baguette and croisants before heading off to the beach.  JC ran - around 8k while we drove and he still got there before us.  Parking was a challenge but we had a few hours on the (less than picturesque) beach before heading back.  We went out for dinner and suggested that JC and No.1 went somewhere on their own rather than all four of us eating together.  It is good for them to have a bit of space although I was worried about her all the time she was not with us, dreading another phone call.  However we enjoyed a nice meal (NOT Coquille St Jaques as I know it) but tasty nevertheless.  Imagine my surprise when, after paying the bill and walking down the stairs, we saw them in the same restaurant!!  In all the gin joints..........?
