Ice, Ice Baby

Today we cruised down Evighedsfjord (Eternity Fjord) -- a large fjord northeast of Kangaamiut in southwest Greenland.  It is 75 kilometers long, and has several branches with numerous glaciers coming down from the Maniitsoq Ice Cap to the north.

Here's a portion of the glacier at the end of the fjord as it meets the sea.  I don't think I'd ever get tired of looking at that beautiful blue colour!

Extra:  A wider view of the same glacier as seen from the balcony of our cabin.
