Shudder

A stile that would send 
shudders down my neck. Frankly,
just a trip hazard.

We've been dodging the rain today but done pretty well with our walks, this photo was from the morning when Mr KCNQ2Haiku had gone on a bike ride and I took Leo and Ben up the hill a bit for some fresh air, this stile marks the start of the footpath that is the most direct route back to the village but these days Ben just can't control his body on a stile.  He's so tall he's more top heavy than he used to be and his feet are so big they don't fit on steps or stones that they're supposed to.. and he's never been agile.  It's a shame because he used to love the challenge of a stile but thankfully he didn't notice this one so there was no upset and he was happy with the normal path home.  The rest of the day has been potter-y, we went to the local shop, played a board game, Ben bounced on the trampoline, I had a nap (a highlight!), Leo ate some sheep poo (not a highlight, for me at least) and I did some weeding.  Now it's easy tea and probably an early night :-)
