Why did this pigeon suddenly take avoiding action?
The chaffinch is puzzled too.
 
Some days I can’t decide between two photos. Like today.
 
Did I choose the best one or the one in extra?  Both have some small merit.
 
Re Maid in Wales entry about Christmas decorations already in a local shop in Wales.  John Lewis announced their new top of the range toys for Christmas. I shall not be surprised if our local gardening centre will soon have their artificial Christmas trees up. 
Er....we have just accepted our first invitation to a Christmas party- OK the venue gets booked up weeks if not months ahead.
