A little bit of fading history.

My mother in law Katherine wanted to go down to the Lexicon Library in Dun Laoghaire to see the Rochestown Demesne Exhibition. Unfortunately there was no official opening to talk or explain about the photographs and maps on display so you were left to your own devices. It was a good thing that Katherine came because of her age she knew a lot about the history of the area from when she was a child. She recognised some of the people in the photographs. Here she is looking at Larkins Forge in Kill O'the Grange. Maureen O'Sullivan the actress is pictured  in the bottom right image visiting the forge. She starred in the early Tarzan films.
