Butterflies

We headed up to Deep Run and got to the home place about 10 am.

We stopped and put the new flower arrangement on the gravestone for Kent’s parents. We then decided to walk our property and walked up to our cemetery and visited Roger’s grave.

As we were walking the area between were our new house is going to go and the home place, we passed the pear tree and noticed some of the ripened pears had fallen on the ground and were not only being enjoyed by wasps but by lots of butterflies.

I wasn’t interested in taking pictures of the wasps but did take some pictures of the butterflies. It was made even better by there being a variety of them.

We had a good turnout for the potluck lunch and some of the younger ones asked if we could do it again. I think we’re just trying to figure out a date!

I think a good time was had by all that came.
