Danced for the camera
We have been occupying the whole of the house for the last couple of weeks. Although there are still a number of things that have yet to be done or completed, the big gas bottles are in place to supply gas for heating water, and cooking on the hob. The oven works. The dishwasher needs the front panel but is usable. The washing machine works. Almost all the lights are wired in and working.
Th next big job is ours. We need to look at what has come from the apartment and the beach house to decide what we need/want, and S will lead that task, as I return to work tomorrow.
After doing a little sorting through boxes this afternoon, I went out for a brisk walk with my Pentax, and was lucky enough to have a couple of Piwakawaka (fantail) come to feed on the tiny insects aroused as I walked past. This one stayed in the same place for a crisp photo.
I have added an extra photo. It shows some gorse spreading from uphill down to beside Huia Road. Gorse is a noxious weed in New Zealand as it grows rapidly and spreads widely and rapidly
