The builders are back

I rather like the ghostly presence of the books behind the veil in what Vikram is now calling the Book Room.  Mind you I prefer that to Sun Room which always suggests a retirement home.  Nothing major being done, we sorted the logic of the light switches in this corner, one used to bafflingly have to go to the other end of the corridor to turn the stair light on or off, and are using the opportunity to fix a couple of other things. 

I did a lot of zoom calls and prepped for the lawyer and spoke to him and so missed HB’s arrival.  V cooked a lovely roast chicken supper and I tried on various outfits for the wedding tomorrow settling on a dress I haven’t worn in ages.
