Had an awful phone call mid morning from my sister saying they believed mum was having a heart attack. Luckily I was only a few minutes from home so we jumped in the car. She was airlifted to Stoke and we arrived a few minutes after the helicopter. One of her arteries was blocked and it was recommended she had a stent fitted. Within an hour it was done and she was back on the ward recovering. Our NHS is amazing. 

We had invited then cancelled having some friends over this evening. We decided to leave mum sleeping so reinvited them. Was a better end to a stressful day.
