Rumpled bed

The rumpled bed has been explored as a subject by some high profile photographers. Most recently there was Tracey Emin's. Imogen Cunningham and Jack Leigh did some and Dorothea Lange set it as a task for her students in the 1950s.

The unmade empty bed has the capacity to suggest its absent occupant. Look beyond the bed and you see some context. A last breakfast, a packed bag. Not going back in a hurry.
