Mixology

It’s overcast again – I headed out for a walk along the lanes while the air was cool. It got warmer and stickier later in the day, so I settled in at home and worked on a few bits and pieces to pass the time – the house still feels eerily quiet, but I’m starting to appreciate the white time. A Nando’s delivery for supper and a couple of movies rounded the day off nicely. I’m finding myself leaning into this series of AI abstracts derived from everyday objects… the skill lies in getting familiar with how the various AI tools react to different seed images and then taking the original photo with a view to the result you’re aiming for. It reminds me of the process I went through when I was shooting a lot of infrared monochrome.
