Picture Frames

It is a very welcome Saturday morning… and the house is peaceful. I got up early and pottered around with some photography and gaming, fuelled by good coffee. Later, Vanessa marshalled the troops to clear furniture from the lounge so we could repaint it. We moved into this house over three years ago, and although we have the place mostly looking how we want it now, the lounge is the one room we have never managed to get quite right. Time for a change today… so the boys and I hauled furniture and helped with prep work, and Vanessa wielded paintbrushes and rollers. Thankfully, I have a happy wife after all that, as the new colours worked together beautifully. Today’s image started off as a composition of stacked, framed photographs of the boys that we had taken out of harm’s way.
