Pelican Brief

It’s been a relaxed and pleasant day. We visited the Urunga Wetlands and then did the Urunga boardwalk along the coast.
I was able to get a few bird shots with my Photogroup project in mind. It’s tempting to make it all about pelicans. They are such fun to photograph.
As well as lots of birds we saw a stingray and an echidna.
We had morning tea at a very hippie cafe next door this to defunct garage (extra) which qualifies for Derelict Sunday. Thank you AngelsShare.
Pete and Kat came around for a BBQ dinner.
