Backs of the leaves.

Dry for our 6000 steps this morning at the Kelpies. Did not enjoy seeing the backs of the leaves on the trees in the stiff breeze. The end of summer ??

I will not mention the R word but it has pelted since!

Had a lovely wee visit over to Fi and Lyall’s where J and A were in fine form and we never leave without cuddles galore and heart shaped gestures as we drive away!

We are so lucky to have four loving grandchildren! All four are very caring and affectionate.

E’s team won 5- 0 at football yesterday! Well done.

Sent E a photo of a new puppy this morning. She loved it. Simon has a new addition to the family since he returned home…..a white shitzu/ West Highland terrier cross. Name to be decided.

Thankfully we are going out tonight to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Have had such a lazy afternoon so am really looking forward to it.
