Every now and then, when I have just about given up on everything, I meet someone like Robert and I see what he does and the manner in which he goes about it, listen to his own life story and I realise all is not lost.

In truth, he shouldn't even be volunteering in a homeless shelter because we shouldn't need them, but until the time comes when everyone gets somewhere safe to sleep, people like Robert are quietly doing their best to save the world! And most interestingly they don't want anything in return.

If anyone saw me walking through the city crying after this shoot, you were not imagining it.
