Bloody proud
Who would have thought that three months ago I would be signing up for a 10km race. Definitely not me. I couldn't run for a minute straight. I was so nervous about it that I hardly slept last night and I had a bad tummy this morning from nerves. But I put my big girl pants on , dropped the wildlings off at my sisters and headed down to register. The rain gods were on my side , thankfully it didn't get windy until around 6km. My hips were killing me by 9km but Gordon kept me going and we finished the race. I didn't come last. And I smashed my original PB by 8 mins. I am so proud of myself.
I've been busy since I came home. Picked up a bookcase on fb for miss Harp and a little one for the jedi. So their room has just been gutted. And we are heading for a KFC soon. I'm starving and have said that's what we're having after my run today.
Mr R got up around lunchtime and hasn't done anything since. But he had a good time yesterday and was home at a sensible time.
Apologies if I don't get around to you all.
