A paler version

We went up to Emmaus with thirteen carrier bags of books this morning and they accepted them all.  I just have modern paperbacks to take to Oxfam and I may advertise my English grammar, French and Spanish books locally.

We've spent the rest of the day gardening and after yesterday's rain I've managed to turn over some soil and remove unwanted plants and weeds.  JJ also dug up the jasmine which has never flowered but takes over.

I found this Jersey Tiger Moth on the shed door and never seen one as pale.  I've only ever seen them with bright red/orange underwings.  This one is a bit lethargic so may be coming to the end of its life.
