Not A Great Day

Flipping chilly.
So much for summer - we have gone from Spring to Autumn without pausing for a Summer.
13C - feels like 8C (and that is inside). No point in going out into the 'warm' ..... it is raining - and has been all day really.

The seam ripper was originally going to be a bird but the 'head' was out of proportion so it has been laying about for ages ... until this morning. Then it was 'repurposed'
I have another ripper, but doing a handle for that didn't go well and then when I did get a handle made I dropped it and the plastic cover (not in the picture) broke. All attempts to get a suitable lid made have failed ..... so far.
I will not be beaten.
