Another canal

A short walk early to see the latest destruction by Chris's, preparing for the building works of the new prison. We decided to go a long walk by the canal but I drove to Foxton. We took a picnic so left late morning. We thought it would be sheltered by the canal but how wrong we were. There were pockets of calm but most of the way to our bench it was cold and so windy. 
We crept up on the heron which didn't stay long as it was busy with dog walkers. Loved the swans and all the cygnets by bridge 61.
