Yes.....this is a grave and what purports to be a headstone.  Yes...it's at Road America, which is the last place you'd expect to find a grave.  This is the burial site of Brian Redman's Cat.  It's on the inside curve (driver's right) of the vaunted Carousel, directly across from the old Corner 10 worker's station.  It was here that the cat met its Waterloo.

If you're a real Motorhead, you know all about Brian Redman.  But you may not know the story behind Brian's cat.  And if you do know the legend, it's most likely an apocryphal version of the truth.  So here is the real truth.........and, if it isn't, it outta be!

Now that you've read the story you are among the initiated.  The cat was killed right here in the Carousel on the weekend that the Chicago Region SCCA was at the track for the Kettle Moraine Regional competition.  Today's is the last day of the 2024 Regional.  So it's fitting that, after the last race, the corner workers gather at the gravesite and raise a glass to the memory of Brian Redman's Cat.  Why not join us if you are of a mind to do so.  Raise a glass.......TO BRIAN REDMAN'S CAT!
