Sleepy Sunday

I've arrived in Brive on my way to the Dordogne tomorrow. It's a very handsome historic town but everything is shut. The only thing to do seems to be to sleep off your liquid lunch.

I managed to find one restaurant that was open and booked a table. Just as well because when I arrived for dinner they were turning people away. 

Going back to my hotel at 9pm I was thinking about having a brandy in the bar. But I arrived to find it locked and in darkness for the night.

Brive doesn't seem to rock on a Sunday.
