Japanese anemone

At last these are flowering. A friend gave me several last year and I decided to put some on a big pot , they took ages to get going but I think will flower well now.

A quite relaxing day. A quick bike ride along the towpath and then to the allotment. I did a couple of hours there, lots of strimming of the paths, cutting back the blackberries as well as picking them , picking more beans and some weeding.

This afternoon I had a couple of long phone calls and have since watched some TV too.
