Is it a bird?

I've no idea what Lexi and Alfie make of the outside world which they only ever see from inside. It does provide some interest, sometimes from the cat tree and also from the desk in the bay window. Maybe it's just movement which catches their attention.

I went to the crochet circle this afternoon which was extremely useful. I've got very out of practice having not been able to do it for several weeks - and I'd only been learning since April. I felt clueless about some of it and my fingers and thumbs had forgotten what to do. Anyway, I hope I'm back on track now over making the granny square pattern that I'd started on. Time will tell!

I cracked this evening and put the heating on. It was quite foul when I was outside with gusty winds and rain and the temperature has been autumnal for a while. Maybe I should get the thermals out.
