Almost there!

Got up at my usual time and took Phin over to Newbattle for what was a very pleasant walk before coming home for a late breakfast.

My choir was performing at the Fringe at 6.40 so although I got pretty close to joining the final squares, I had to stop and get ready mid afternoon. Stressed on the bus into town as it was running late and us is the usual way, stopped at every stop to pick up more passengers. However I made it on time to meet up with the others.

Rather chilly for an August evening as we were lining up to go into the venue but we soon warned up when we got inside. The performance was well received by the audience and we were rewarded afterwards with a glass (plastic cup) of Prosecco.

My neighbour Yvonne wasn’t able to perform with us but came and met Carol, June and I for dinner in the City restaurant. It was lovely to relax over fish and chips and good chat. An added bonus was the bus home arriving on time!
