What's Next On My List

Day trip by boat to an island offshore, significant because of the gannet colony there. Many photos of gannets nesting, engaged in mating rituals and circling in flight. I chose this close up portrait to show their beautiful markings.

There are signs to keep 6m away for fear of causing abandoned nests. I thought that not far enough and kept well away.

Extra: Flyby. I had some success photographing northern fulmars as they coasted by on the wind.
