A day of rest

A chance to relax and recharge the batteries today. The “team” gathered around the kitchen table for a communal breakfast and chat.
I walked down to see W and H with Dippy, Tess and Patch. Three of the wedding guests were there and phone numbers were exchanged for future reference. I collected these flowers from their garden and chatted to the goats and chickens which were looking very happy.
Back to give the bathrooms a sort out and check how everyone was doing on the camp site.
Restocking the log pile was the priority after lovely compliments from everyone regarding how they are enjoying their visit and the hospitality.
The team were invited to the Instow Arms for Sunday lunch and so so we crammed in the Old Rover and chugged down the windy lane.
We met S and E there and had a great time eating, chatting and planning out some plans for the future.
I drove the youngsters home to let the others rehydrate in their accustomed manner and enjoyed the music from the teepee sitting around the large fire whilst cooking popcorn over the embers.
Back to the kitchen for a warm beverage and some scones, Whortleberry jam and clotted cream on top.
